What else besides school buildings?
Schools and organization which receive grants must demonstrate their ability to be self-supporting as we do not provide ongoing operating funds; but from time to time C4A does get involved in raising emergency funds for schools in crisis and raises bursaries for needy and deserving students. We also promote larger projects to donors which are outside of the scope of our normal projects.
Where in Africa does C4A operate?
At present the focus of our efforts is Eastern and Southern Africa. Up to date we have supported projects in Uganda, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, South Africa and Kenya.
Non-profit Organization
Classrooms for Africa operates under the Dunamis Education Society (DES) which is a registered non-profit organization in Canada. Donations are tax-receiptable if made in Canada.
