Hope Nursery and Primary Christian School was established over 12 years ago in the town of Masaka in southern Uganda. It serves local students and those from further afield as far as Gulu, the war-torn area in the north. Non-local students reside at the school. The demand for Christian education has increased in recent years and there has been great demand for the school to expand to include a high school.

The Ugandan society which owns and runs the school purchased land north of the town and is now building the high school. The school leadership is very committed to Christian education and is involved in the Uganda Association of Christian Schools.

Starting in June 2008 Classrooms for Africa provided funds for building a four classroom block, administration offices and a storeroom. Funds were disbursed in installments as the building progressed and the project was monitored by Hope and C4A respresentatives locally. A local architect and building team were involved in the building. The school opened for high school students in January 2011.
