Victory Primary is located in a poor township area of Mafikeng, sponsored by the Victory Celebration Centre Church. The Christian school has classes from pre-school to Grade 7 and serves around 200 students from the surrounding area. The school is well run by an experienced principal who has developed a strong educational program and has a clear vision for the future of the school. The school site is located on the grounds of the church.
Having built foundations for additional classrooms, a library and computer room, the school was approved for a grant from Classrooms for Africa to complete the facility in June 2009. By January 2010 the new classrooms were ready to be occupied and have been in use ever since. The official opening of the building was held in August 2010 and attended by representatives of C4A and educators from Western Canada.
Funds were disbursed in installments through ACSI South Africa. A team of local builders constructed the block providing work for the local people.
