Classrooms for Africa is totally donor dependent.
The cost of building a single classrooms ranges from $7,000 to $10,000 depending on the country and location of the school. Starter schools consisting of 4 classrooms, an office and store room cost from $30,000 - $40,000.
How to DonateDonations originating in Canada may be made online by clicking on the "Donate Now" link at the bottom of this page. Choose the "Classrooms for Africa" designation. To donate to a specific project, name the project in the Message box. If not specified donations will go towards the next project waiting.
Donations may also be made by cheque made out to: Dunamis Education Society (DES) with C4A and project name in the Memo. Mail to: Classrooms for Africa P.O. Box 74006, Fraser Heights, Surrey, BC, Canada V4N 5H9.
DES is a registered Canadian charity and issues receipts for donations made from Canadian sources. Classrooms for Africa uses 5% of donations to help cover operating expenses, with the remaining 95% going directly to the project.

Relationship between C4A and Donors
When received donations are acknowledged by C4A and at the end of the tax year receipts are issued. Donors for specific projects are kept informed as the project progresses and have the option of having their name acknowledged on the plaque mounted on the completed classroom/building.
