Without there being a need, without schools and organizations appying for grants and without generous donors, Classrooms for Africa would not exist. We invite you to explore with us ways in which you can be involved. Remember the "Power of one Classroom to make a Difference"
Donors
In the short history of Classrooms for Africa we have been able to undertake 18 projects because of the generous financial support of many individuals and communities in Western Canada. ACSI Christian schools in Western Canada and a number of individuals have made contributions ranging from small amounts, through bursaries to the funding of full starter schools. Ninetyfive percent of funds donated are spent directly on the projects. Five percent is used towards administration costs in Canada. Canadians donate their time and skills to administer locally, and to select, coordinate and visit personally, at their own expense, the projects in Africa.
Grant Recipients
Schools may apply for funding online or through submitting a application form. Applications go through a selection process and must comply with specific guidelines. Successful applicants need to enter into a contract with C4A and provide specific budget details and timelines.
Sponsors
Individuals, organizations and businesses are encouraged to become sponsors with C4A by contributing annually to the ongoing costs of operating C4A and the Dunamis Education Society. Click here for corporate sponsorship information
Partners
