Epworth Christian School is located in the disadvantaged Epworth area of Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe.
School information:
Epworth school has grown out of a local the ministry of a local church which reaches out to the poor in the area. The school did not have any permanent building, only a tin shack. It offers a Christian education to pre-school/early primary children. The school is under the leadership of a local pastor who has a number of churches in the area and who has a vision for Christian education. The students currently in the school are taught by a qualified teachers. A more substantial classroom building will help meet the needs of the many other children who wish to attend and who benefit from the pastor's feeding program already.

Status:
A C4A grant was approved in 2008, however due to the political situation in the country the building was delayed until late 2010. Progress now continues and by latest reports the classrooms have now been completed. A update on the school will be available soon.
