Location:
Tirrim Nomadic Primary School is located in northern Kenya near the town of Korr. The area is semi-desert and the environment extremely harsh.

School information:
Tirrim school serves the children of the semi-nomadic Rendille people. Several nursery schools existed in the area but without any facilities or protection from climate conditions. Under the auspices of the Africa Inland Church the primary school started in 2004. Since the first C4A project completed in 2009,the student population has grown exponentially, and the need is now for extra classrooms to house all primary grades up to grade 7.

Building applied for:
Plans are to build classroom wings on either side of the existing multipurpose room together with kitchen facilities, store room and toilets.

Cost:
Around $35,000 per wing

Disbursements:
Funds will be disbursed and the project organized and monitored by the Africa Inland Mission.

Status:
Now funded by individual donors from Western Canada.
