Location:
Victory Christian School is located in the small trading centre town of Qumbu in Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.

School information:
The school was started in 2002 and serves over 92 students in pre-school through grade 4. The school has a staff of 6 teachers including the principal and owns the land on which the existing building stands. The school caters for children from a wide area and plans to expand its grade offerings over time. Conditions are very poor - school equipment is minimal.

Building applied for:
Completion of a four classroom block adjacent to the original small school building. The building had been started but not to an occupiable level when viewed by C4A representatives in April 2009. Funds were granted to complete the facility, replace the temporary pressed board sections and build adequate ringbeams to support the metal roof.
