Location:
Cornelius Hope Academy is situated on a 20 acre property on the outskirts of Harare, the capital city of Zimbabwe. The property is owned and operated by the Village of Hope, Zimbabwe. The organization currently operates an primary school, homes for orphans, a church, a farm and a medical clinic on the property.

School information:
The school, started in 2007, currently serves over 500 students from K through Grade 7. The need is to provide high school education for the students graduating from the primary school.

Building applied for:
Application has been made to Classrooms for Africa for a grant to help fund the construction of a 1,900 sq. ft. four-classroom block for the high school grades. Construction materials will include bricks, concrete, corrugated asbestors roofing, finished concret floor with steel reinforcing, steel windows and doors, and gyproc ceilings.

Cost:
An estimated cost for each classroom is $16,000 which covers building materials. Labour will be provided free by the local community.

Disbursements:
Funds will be disbursed by the VOH Africa Director in installments, who will track and report on progress of the project.
